In February 2015 Spaxton Community Stores opened in the grounds of the Village Hall. Since February 2016 it has also offered a Post Office. It is a small but well stocked shop, owned by the community, run by the community for the benefit of the community. There is ample parking outside.
The shop stocks are wide range of products to meet everyday needs:
- milk and dairy products
- fresh bread, cakes and biscuits
- fresh fruit and veg
- newspapers
- household essentials
- a variety of confectionery products and ice creams
- fresh and frozen meat, and more.
